Bric-A-Brac can repair your china, porcelain, figurines and more!After over 40 years in the business of restoring and repairing items of all kinds, the Bric-A-Brac Studio is still going strong and getting rave reviews from customers all over the country and the world. We have always believed that if an item is important enough for someone to want to have it repaired, s/he should treat it with respect and consideration no matter what the value is.
A client of the shop recently donated one of the largest collections of Staffordshire to the New Orleans Museum of Art and the pieces that needed work were restored by the Bric-A-Brac Studio before the donation. All items, from crystal stemware, jade figurines, porcelain dolls (antique or new), really anything fired or blown can be repaired at the Bric-A-Brac Studio. We also repair some wood, base metal, and sculptures of various materials - stone, marble, terra-cotta, and plaster, etc. Our work is meticulous and all done by hand. We’re not mechanized or computerized; we don’t have a cash register or a credit card machine. We just like being old world with new world technology, such as paints, glazes, fill and adhesives. Word-of-mouth reputation has brought us customers from all over the world and we tell them all "If it is important enough for you to preserve it, it’s important for us to make you happy."
Many of our customers have told us that they wished they had known about us before they threw something away. Their stories have prompted her to create this Web site, so everyone can know their broken pieces can be repaired and their treasures restored.

The oldest item we repaired was a widow’s tear catcher, circa 300 B.C. It had been gifted to a family in New Orleans from the Royal Family of Jordan.
